The 60s the fountain of black enlightenment.

Blackness in one's view will forever be a point of debate and a bone of contention when it comes to the emancipation of the global south. In understanding the parameters of enlightenment and where this aura of enlightenment emanates from it can be appreciated that the void can be filled by tracing the tides of time as they are the only substantive source that has a guarantee to all understanding of the contemporary twenty-first century. Expanding further leaning against the saying "History repeats itself" is so often a time, one gets to notice it is as-is. This is because one's submission in this case is based on the power dynamics between the conquered and conqueror. Therefore that imbalance could not meet the core of the conversation where there is and must be a point of reckoning and reconciliation when it comes to addressing the past if possible. However, be that as it may, in one's observation it can be noted that the 1960s are the definitive anchor to understanding the contemporary reasons that inspired the emergence of the conversations that are being discussed in many circles of epistemological debate. This essay is a reaction to the wave where there is literary censorship against the Critical Race Theory from the global northern hemisphere that is hellbound and determined with all it has to place sensors around the expansion of the theory. In one's observation, and being a member of the global south that is historically disenfranchised and still reeling and recovering from the shackles of colonialism, and neo-colonialism. CRT becomes the North star of reference in order to be able to understand contemporary reality. That is being faced by me and my generation and where do we stand in all of this after the first generation is dead and gone, where do we stand in this contemporary conversation, from a vantage point that seeks to embrace both spheres of the global south. It can be suggested that movements such as the Black Lives Matter, Fees Must Fall, DeColonisation, Accelerated Land Reform Program, Marikana 2012, and the Mau-Mau rebellion. The horizon is far and wide, there are a plethora of landmarks one can mention, however, for the sake of time, only a few can be mentioned. The idea is to bring to the fray the concept of finding the core of the meaning into where and how the 1960s were a penultimate period that has standing in black psychology. One would suggest that period is when the stars of black consciousness aligned as that period brought to question the status quo of the global south that is culturally intertwined and has brought into the fray the status of the global society and yet the reciprocity of the global north towards the global south is negative. Therefore schools such as CRT, and Black Consciousness become the standing yardstick not to evoke panic in the society but to evoke the suppressed consciousness of the world for the voices of the black community have been muzzled by the global north and become moving cadavers that have unintentionally but systematically forced to become zombies. In one's observation that period "1960s" was at a time when the black community rose to the table and sought to question the presupposed and assumed status quo that society was made to believe is how the world should be conducted when in actuality that is not the case. It stems from critiquing what is understood as what should be but in reality it is what should not be. Without world war 1 & ultimately 2, the black person would still be suppressed and still understand and believe that its place is in the corner and not at the table. Eventually, due to time, the black person would though find their place in this world one way or the other, however, as history and humanity saw it fitting that the two wars, were the fitting stage to evoke and provoke the dormant black mind into questioning its position in the global village. The point that is being delivered in this observation is that without the wars there would not have been a shift in the observation of the laws, the economics, and the politics of societies as they intertwin, cascade, and collide within each other. Therefore 1960, that decade is the decade that marked the beginning of black enlightenment and entitlement as the black majority deserves a share of the pie that is before humanity. Kwame Nkrumah said, "the black man can solve his own problems" in that spectacle the black person is expected to reap and benefit from the rewards that come along with solving his own problems. Therefore this then means theories such as CRT and B.C. act as an anchor in investigating the dynamics behind blackness and the world.

The 60s is an era where the global negro community started its trek to freedom. Without world war two, there would have not been black protestant writers, though eventually, they would have emerged in another way other than world war. As destiny has it world war was the platform that sought the explosion of black emancipation. In one's observation, the 60s can be called the black renaissance, the period of psychological convergence of the black persons. There and then the seed was sown and the expansive population of black awakening became the underground railroad to black freedom. It is still in one's observation as the global north still dictates the fate of blackness, which is still an imbalance the point is that, black expressive art is viewed with suspicion and there are gatekeepers that do not appreciate black expressive art as it dabbles on topics that leave many uncomfortable but that is the purpose of art to evoke the mind to think critically of what is around them. It has taken thirty years for black writing to be recognised on the global literary scene as if society does not appreciate black literature when essence black literature is where the forgotten heart of men still beats. The 60s is still and shall forever be the determining factor in black history; from the Caribbean to the U.S., descending back to Africa. You see that the 60s were at the juncture of the black universal stance. Questions such as where is my 40 acres and a mule or I fought with you side by side yet you want me to go back to my place of nothing.

The birth of Ghana, Algeria, to writers and thinkers such as Achebe, Davis, Fannon, Hampton, H. Newton. To leaders such as Nkrumah, Lumumba, Mugabe, Hani, Madikizela to Shakur, you see the unanswered questions of that era repeat themselves to this day and in the foreseeable future. Bringing to contemporary times the Marikana massacre 2012, Fees Must Fall 2015/16, to Black lives matter. Black consciousness is a virgin, the same with its literature, and imagination there is still a lot to be untapped discussed, and investigated around. Individuals such as Dedan Kimathi, to the role, played uMkhonto we Sizwe played a role in black enlightenment. Even in black art where culture laid the foundation for contemporary music. The likes of Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Winston Ngozi Mankunku "Yakhal'Inkomo", Lewis Nkosi.

The 60s are an interesting period that brought with it the questions that are central to the black struggle and how the black struggle has been articulated in a way where the black voice has not been given an opportunity to be heard. The black person has everything that has been taken away from it and in such a space where the black person is not accorded its fair share of respect. The only thing that a black person has to their name is black-rage. In one's view, the 1960s became the vantage point where blackness was ushered into the conversation on the various platforms of departure that seek to articulate the preservation of blackness from the political arena, to the social arena, cascading to the legal arena. Therefore from both fronts of the global south, the 60s became the point of focus as it dissects the conversation with regard to reparations and addressed the effects of colonialism and imperialism. What one is delivering to the fray is that the 60s era was the focal point of attempting to raise the conversation around where the black person seeks to comprehend the position of the black person. The matter of the black person becomes the focal point. The compounding circumstances resulted in the 60s being the epitome of black awakening where there was a seismic shift across the board when it came to the ideas of black emancipation and black representation; with an emphasis on self-determination. The idea of establishing a self-determined individual it allows the manifestation of black representation from the grassroots to the global scene. The compounding social circumstances within the black community dating back to as far as the trans-Saharan slave trade and were largely felt during the height of the trans-Atlantic slave trade. The black nation-building project was disrupted further pushing aback the agenda by at least five hundred years and counting. In one's observation the 60s decade became that outlet where the realisation of black emancipation and taking the idea into practice in the 60s became the perfect setting for a unanimous stance against systemic and endemic misrepresentation. It has to be acknowledged that the disenfranchisement of the black person over the passage of time. Overtime inspired the emergence of radical and moderate resistant schools of thought. This can be linked with the access to education which allowed sporadic enlightenment that broadened the reasoning platform of the black majority. As can be traced to the following historical landmarks that came along with the 60s. The first port of call without any order, in the 60s the world saw the rise of the Nation Of Islam led by Prophet Elijah Mohammed which then gave the world Malcolm X. The black revolutionary's stance no black liberation that carried an aggressive radical stance catapulted him to the stage. Furthermore, one paying attention to the more moderate stance of non-violence the school of thought that was brought and advocated by Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The two black leaders zoning in one can note that they represented the divided mind of the black person. In this aspect, one expresses the view of interacting the point that notes, Malcolm X and Luther King Jr were the epitome of the black consciousness as their schools of thought amplified the microcosm of the macrocosm of the black thought. The 60s saw the emergence and rise of the black panther party led by Huey Newton which then spawned various stations across America and that saw the rise of Chairman Fred Hampton. Bringing the historical landmarks to Africa in the 60s saw the emergence of black nationalism across Africa. Where colonialism was being pushed back on the continent of Africa the first port of call that the continent witnessed was the establishment of the Organisation of African Unity. The organisation's mandate was to assist and oversee the declaration of African countries, the school of thought inspired various means and ways that brought with them the emergence of Pan-Africanism which saw the various methods of seeing Africa free and that is the use of guerilla warfare to fight the oppressors or means of diplomacy. In some instances where guerilla warfare was in east Africa Kenya. The Mau-Mau rebellion saw the rise of Jomo Kenyatta and then sparked the rise of post-colonial literature through the lenses of Okot P'Bitek and Ngugi Wa Thiongo. The same tangent of war was expressed in Zaire now known as DRC saw the rise and fall of Patrice Lumumba; going further afield one gets to mention icons such as Leopold Senghor that saw culture as a means to continental enlightenment. Seikou Toure. Trickling to southern Africa, in Rhodesia Joshua Nkomo at that time was a trade unionist and formed his own political party ZAPU around 1964/65. In that same year Rhodesia under Ian Smith, as the white minority government saw to it that they shall be toppled by the black majority. As a means of pacifying the black aggression, Ian Smith brought up with him the Unilateral Declaration of Independence "U.D.I." The move was meant to quail the looming, ensuing black aggression through the minority government declaring independence. London saw it as an insult and therefore Rhodesia was placed under sanctions. The point that is being delivered at this point in time is that the 60s ushered a seismic shift into the status of the black person in Africa and in the global South. When the black thought is aligned there is a great potential definitive shift in the world. Furthermore, as it is witnessed in the introduction of the arts to be specific African expressive art saw with it the awakening of the dormant black thought that focuses on dictating its own story and calling for a conscious shift into the old order. In essence, the 60s during the height of mass censorship by the various oppressive governments saw the rise and emergence of singers such as Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Winston Ngozi Mankunku, writers such as Lewis Nkosi, Doris Lessing, Wole Soyinka. The arts scene became the home of the ideal black thought where places such as Sophiatown, where black art preserved the consciousness of the majority. Spoke about the ideal black utopia at the same time communicating with the rest of the world that in spite of the endemic violence exposed to the black person. The black person will find means and ways to entertain himself and at the same time educate himself on the visible-invisible red tapes. Thus one can suggest that the 60s was a convergence of the following Black Radical Imagination, Afro-surrealism, Afro-realism, and Afro-Dadaism. All the isms that pertain to creative workmanship were intersecting having an influence on the sub-conscious black person that in turn then question the status quo. In which the politics, the law, the society, the education, the religion. In the inception of the above social spheres, their inception did not consider the black person. Therefore one gets to observe the unholy murder of Emmett Louis Till, his death could be suggested as well into being the mulch that inspired the accelerated black consciousness that saw with it the rise of the 60s being the gateway into black emancipation. In that breath, the 60s saw the Rivonia Trial taking place, the emergence of Umkhonto We Sizwe, and the rise of the P.A.C. led by Robert Sobukwe. Winnifred Madikizela-Mandela was the custodian of the black revolution while Nelson Mandela and others were in prison. Therefore one can suggest that the black revolution did not end with the black man, the black revolution globally rested as well within the hands of black women as well. Thus echoing the sentiments within the black community of cohesion amongst the two genders that make up the black society. The rising of global conflicts such as world war one and two, the cold war was a catalyst for critical conversation with regard to the rights of black people globally. As the three wars posed a critical question on the global scale which was, where does the black person stand in the eyes of the coloniser, can the black person emancipate itself and be the master of its own destiny, furthermore, who is the black person on the global scene. As this can be observed with the three wars, the three wars were all based on a clash of ideas capitalism versus communism. Then the black person's psychology is the battleground for impirical attention. However, the question then poised was or would be where and if possible is the black person even allowed to pursue its own epistemological independence or it must be subservient and inclined with remorse to the ideals that have been established by foreign minds. Therefore in one's perspective and suggestion would be that the 60s is an important historical decade as it brought with it the core question of where and how can black independent thinking be viewed and witnessed. In many cases, according to history Black independent thinking is viewed with a grain of salt and is not permitted to roam free as it should and must be. As it can be submitted into the conversation through the sporadic coups that came along with it in Ghana in February 1966 Kwame Nkrumah was deposed by the military, tribal and ethnic conflicts decimated the Nigerian political structure, instead the Nigeria electorate voting based on party lines. The Nigerians still vote according to ethnic lines, which then creates a classicist, corrupt state virtually. The state fails before it ever begins its "independence" journey, paying attention to the Zaire case where black free thinking was quashed before it ever saw the light of day. The coup and assassination of Zaire's first and last democratically elected president Patrice Lumumba who was accused of being a communist and Mobutu Seseko through a coup became the de facto president of Zaire. A darling to the west but a foe to the people of Zaire. The 60s are an important decade for understanding the present, the future, and the past as the answers to everything that occurs in the black twenty-first century still repeat themselves in the 60s. The 60s brought with them the existential conversation around black literacy as it became the red carpet into black understanding. Which brought with it black reasoning, which then ushers the black person to be able to understand that the skills that are acquired at the tertiary level are not theirs per se. They belong to the community where they come from and the mantra "African problems need African ideas" echoes the declaration made by Kwame Nkrumah "The black man can solve his own problems", the unanimously means that the black person is given the chance to emancipate itself through successes and mistakes without interference has the capacity of solving its own problems and it can solve the world's problems. One can suggest that African philosophies have been decimated, while they do carry important notes and answers to the problems that humanity faces, "they gave us the bible, taught us how to pray when we opened our eyes they had taken the land". 1958 a penultimate year into black free-thinking, the year with it the first book was written by an African in English "Chinua Achebe: Things Fall Apart", the latter proves obvious as it can be understood that the body of work not only speaks about the state of the African. The body of work expresses the microcosm of the macrocosm with regards to the state of the African, therefore, observing the position of the African; Achebe the Godfather of African writing laid the foundation for what the 60s would be like for the black person in the global south. Achebe was like Jesus, African writers wrote and still write the Bible. The 60s are the foundation of black enlightenment, the past and the future repeat themselves and the present is a mystery.

In conclusion in my view, I have come to understand in my journey thus that the 60s when it comes to definitive global south defiance and deciding to choose its own path. In any creatives journey, the 60s is the place to draw understanding when it comes to understanding the past as it affects the future, but the present is a mystery.

It once happened in Russia, it can happen in Zimbabwe.

"It once happened in Russia it can happen in Zimbabwe", it is November 2017 the bloodless coup happened and the citizenry was hoodwinked by Geppetto. To think that they are the ones that guided the removal of Robert Gabriel Mugabe when in actuality it was never the people. It was "them" the ones that lurk in the shadows, the ones that pull the strings from behind, the ones that go by the name Geppetto. Drawing a similarity from the collapse of the Soviet Union where the veil of communism was pushed back only to the borders between Georgia and Kyiv and some parts of Minsk. A similar veil gradually came into being from 4 July 1964 to 18 November 2017 in this observation the country of Zimbabwe's "ambition" to be a revered state that can withstand the elements of the world. As one can be brought into attention the world is structured in accordance with the Western Capitalistic philosophy of exploiting the masses for the benefit of the few. In which the birth pangs of Pan-African freedom came into being the day Ghana attained her independence under the watchful eye of Kwame Nkrumah, "Our independence is meaningless unless it is linked up with the total liberation of Africa".

In one's view, Zimbabwe is a victim of internal and external factors that have resulted in the expropriation, exploitation, and disenfranchisement of the masses at the expense of the survival of the elite. The use of "elite" in this essay explicitly points out the people that have made their wealth through making Faustian deals with the so-called enemy. At the expense of the people and being in bed with the all-weather friend, understanding the magnitude of the reality may we pay attention to the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell. The dystopian literary work best sums a perfect immortal portrait that narrates the Russian Revolution that saw the rise of Josef Stalin a similar situation is afoot in Zimbabwe. The freedom fighters of 1964 down to 1979 had a Marxist agenda. Topple the elite white minority, establish the black majority then develop an ultra black state that brought about the philosophies of Pan-Africanism and the empowerment of the before disenfranchised population "building the windmill" the people were conscripted to be like Boxer the Horse "I will harder! Napoleon is always right!". A similar blueprint was propagated by the political elite prioritized by the Buffalo soldiers cum Politicians Understanding that in order for their families to stay in control prioritize in creating a working force that will succeed the old working force, therefore, creating a repetitive system that best benefits the few that have access to the farmhouse of farmer Jones. Therefore the mindless minions that were used to push the agenda of the accelerated land reform program were structured to undertake the vision, mission, and aspiration of the political elite. All hail Squealer! That cheered on Boxer, Benjamin, and others to carry on building the windmill. Ignore the rumours of Snowball that are hellbound to veer everyone from the focus of building the windmill. The similar scenes played well in Zimbabwe, basically, Zimbabwe is a typical mishmash of the two novels by Orwell's Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-Four. The thought police are always hounding the free thinkers all for the best benefit of the system. Thus systematically creating an epistemological erosion in Zimbabwe, firstly the brain-drain from the country, then education system that was once revered it has become a shadow of its former glory, echo Dambudzo Marechera's magnum opus, a house of hunger.

"The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which".

As Zimbabwe slowly the African version of the tectonic downfall of the Soviet Empire, many state-owned companies were sold off at a cheap price in Russian at the time Vladimir Putin came into power. Therefore giving the rise of Oligarchs sprouting like mushrooms, it will not be an astonishing reality if that is to happen in Zimbabwe, maybe it has already happened.

The above school of thought appreciates the crippling effects of the economy of Zimbabwe through again internal and external factors. Internal factors are party politics at the expense of the people resulting in the country dying from within. Pathetic Gono-nomics to the accelerated land reform program that witnessed the Zimbabwean dollar taking a free fall, the 2008 global recession, to the unfulfillment of the Lancaster House agreements by the British government. This then builds one to theorise the following theory the hypothesis permeates along with the following school of thought.

When Margaret Thatcher oversaw the Lancaster House negotiations she agreed to it that the willing seller, willing buyer principle be used as a democratic means to solve the land dispute. Ronal Regan pledged to see to it that it supports the British government. The British government assisted in the first instance to see to it that the payment is done in Zimbabwe through depositing the money into the Zimbabwean government's account and the Zimbabwean government through its ministry of lands and resettlement would then purchase the land on behalf of the people acquire title deeds and then redistribute the land equally between its people. The farmer's rights are protected as well as the land rights are protected. Due to the farmer is happy he or she is willing to help the community with what they know about farming and farming economics. However, the American government of Regan only paid a fraction of its agreement, subsequently, the British government failed to commit to its agreed deal with the Mugabe government. In understanding that it would be an embarrassment to the "British Empire" to commit to reparations to a bunch of negroes. It will then be an embarrassment to the crown, that they have been forced to pay back to an African state. This in turn would create an avalanche where not only Zimbabwe, but states such as Kenya, Malawi, Ghana, Egypt, Tanzania, South Africa, among others will demand a similar style of reparations system. What this then does creates a gap within the British Ministeries finances books. This then forces the Ministry of finance of Britain to increase its taxes, therefore forcing the middle class to fork out more meaning the cost of living in Britain becomes expensive, therefore creating tensions. Inspiring movements in Britain to rise up against the monarchy inspired states such Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotlands people to decide to become a republic. In Britain repaying Zimbabwe, it meant that Portugal, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Italy, the USA would meet the same fate of reparations. Therefore giving communism a leg up in the ideological warfare scene. Subsequently resulting in the downfall of all markets. This means a reset within the global financial system governed by new laws, new principles, and new philosophies. The hypothesis, historically; the National Party of South Africa after it noted that states such as Tanzania, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, Angola. They were buffers for the military wings the ANC, PAC among others. The National Party in realizing that it is cornered it resorted to secretly sabotaging these newly independent states especially the main nerves of these frontline states, the best way of defense is attacking. The key points that the National Party would target were oil refinery plants, railways, ports, and even radio stations. The National Party is known to have invaded Angola having to be in collaboration with Jonas Malheiro Savimbi who led UNITA during the Angolan civil war. Using the Savimbi case study, it can be juxtaposed as a possible cause of the Gukurahundi genocide of 1982-1987. One of the many reasons that led to the genocide it is said that ZAPU had purchased key farms that surrounded Harare in all directions according to the compass. Some of the farms were found in communal lands such as Goromonzi this then led to a tip-off where the military caches were discovered. What has to be proven is the following, did the guerillas that were aligned with ZAPU have any contact with the National Party of South Africa. In Britain understanding that the people that had assumed power still suffering from war PTSD, where they interpret any suspicious movements that remind them of farmer Jones. They are quick to pull the trigger as they themselves know and understand that the same sword that they removed farmer Jones, will be the same sword that shall come after their necks. The principle of divide and conquer would be the same approach that would be beneficial to the British empire and the rest of its western allies. In understanding that the Mugabe government at that time and to this day and age across both parties is a Shona dominated party and the Ndebele ethnic group are nowhere to be found, ideas for the calls for equal representation within the newly formed government would be an ongoing debate subsequently resulting in the ZAPU fighters not willing to give arms based on the above reasoning. Therefore Mugabe and his lieutenants in being in control of the 5th brigade resorted to deploying the 5th brigade, thus names such as Perence Shiri, Rex Nhongo. That led to the attack upon the Ndebele minority that was represented by Nkomo. Since the dissidents had blended with the population and it was difficult to identify the dissidents and the civilians became a blurry picture. Thus in order to get the job done as time was not on their side, the unholy acts happened from the period of 1982-87. Thus the British empire playbook is scripted and then archived from the eyes of the public except the few that conjured this plan. In turn, while the genocide is afoot furthering scarring the fragile nation this allowed the emergence and rising of new politicians such as Tony Blair that became key figures in Mugabe's bid to retain control and mass appeal before the nationalists and the people. A typical Vladimir Putin moves in bringing back the Chechenian state under the palms of the Russian Bear. A similar move was done by Mugabe "the Cock" to humble and quail Nkomo "the Bull". Thus birthing the charade of the day called "Unity day", where through state media the narrative is told in accordance to the victor's version which over time will and is creating a new generation that believes the state media's version of events. Mugabe understood that he needs to conquer and embarrass Britain by bringing back the Lancaster House Agreements. Tony Blair's government in one's point of view were prepared for a rebuttal in which they fulfilled expeditiously without breaking a sweat. A simple "No" infuriated Mugabe, therefore in understanding that  "he" is easily pushed to undertake a bloody campaign in which he did. Thus spurning a "3rd Chimurenga ie Hondo ye minda", which disregards the principles of human rights and property rights. Which saw the propaganda machine working overtime, where movements such PaxAfro, Tambaoga, KidzNet, Street theatre Kapfupi "Freddy Manjalima", Gringo, the banning of Joy TV that was owned by Zimbabwean mogul James Makamba. At that time MDC-99 with key players such as Learnmore "Judah" Jongwe, Tendai Biti, Morgan Tsvangirai, the UZ protests of the 97 to 2000s among others. Arrived onto the scene debating legally on the accelerated movement that led to the white minority farmers and their workers being mutilated, raped, robbed, and murdered. This then created a further unstable state serenading the state into a state of despair, inflation skyrocketing into new territories that it has never witnessed. The international community through Britain condemning Zimbabwe ie Mugabe for the actions he took. Thus we recall the famous quote, "...We are not Europeans, nor do we wish to be Europeans, so Blair keep your England and I will keep my Zimbabwe...". In retaliation to the British pressure, Mugabe resorted to leaving the Commonwealth introducing the look east policy, Let us welcome the Dragon and the Bear into the picture.

This then created Pandora's box of madness and an aggressive smear campaign to Zimbabwe by media institutions of the west. Again Zimbabwe fell victim to an assumed British plan. In the lectures of Yuri Bezmenov under the tactics of subversion, inspire a monster in their minds and watch them kill each other. They would then give the state a period of at least twenty years until the fatigue kicks in and thus reaching into the year 2017 November 18. So what then happens is that already beneficiaries of the colonialism western states, come into the fray as saviors and messiah's "a proxy war Capitalism has an edge over Communism or Pan-Africanism".

Internal cancer has to be cured through aggressive chemotherapy and surgery "the bloodless coup" where the tumor "Mugabe" is removed surgically. Zimbabwe under Mugabe around 2008 racing down to 2017, was now experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. The only way to save the mother "Zimbabwe" is to remove or expel the baby from the fallopian tubes. In which the surgery was successful therefore bring in the so-called "2nd Republic". Which is proving to be difficult to prove that it is different from the old regime and the new regime.

In any territory or brand or startup, branding is everything the wise words of the wise King Solomon, from his famous book of proverbs he says, "...for a good name is better than riches...". Surfing on the King Solomon wave for two decades and counting Zimbabwe has been receiving a barrage of bad press. A moment of hope was afoot when the "...the voice of the people is the voice of god..." propaganda wheel new dawn was upon the landlocked state. Unfortunately, it was a short-lived one "honeymoon is over bitch!" come August 01 2018 eight months later the January to February 2019 violence occurs "the protests were based on the sole fact that the President had announced on state television that fuel will increase by ten percent, this, in turn, meant the costs of living rose within forcing the people to get into the streets in protesting against the decision, there were no subsidies in place that would assist the people to make ends meet, basically it was a slap on the wrist or cheap shot on the people 'let's see whatchu gonna do bitch!' bye Felicia". This then results in the President cutting his tour of Eastern Europe short and returning to Zimbabwe to firstly secure the "Iron throne" and then quail all forms of unrest from the people. During the two months of forced closure of the state "Zimbabwe" and cutting off the internet where people used VPNs to have to access to the world. Again Zimbabwe falls into the same trap that it was exposed right off the bat, you shall be angry, you shall make stupid decisions in the name of power, you shall be an example of a failed state, your electorate shall come back crawling to them, again you shall rig the elections, you shall become a Russia version two. Subsequently, the bad branding of the state will devalue the country and its people and its massive wealth, state-run enterprises shall be placed on for sale to save the country from total collapse. Faustian deals will be made with Lion, the Bear, the Dragon, the Bald Eagle, the Cock, other organisations will be bought by the already mega-wealthy that have survived and amassed wealth through laundering tactics and offshore accounts. This then means in order for the state "Zimbabwe" to survive it needs to sell many of its public assets to private persons and co-operations. Taking a glance at the "Faustian mega-deals" that Zimbabwe has made with the Dragon "Building of the Parliament, though which was long overdue". Understanding the Dragons economy is contracting it will be forced to sources outside funding to cushion its day-to-day expenses. Therefore it is in its right to exercise to activate its clauses to take over the key projects that it is building in Zimbabwe or Zambia or Malawi or Kenya, meaning those "public" projects become private projects. Therefore the projects are privately owned they have in their right to toggle with the prices of basic services such as electricity, transportation "tollgate fares" just to survive. Bangladesh is one case study meaning Africa is not spared from the looming gray cloud, again the oligarchs that have wormed their way to the top will stay there and will do whatever it takes to live forever until the son of men decides to return. It is imperative to understand that the politics or legal decisions that occur on the continent "Cape to Cairo, Mombasa to Luanda" does matter. In order for the African Continental Free Trade Agreement to survive it requires every African to join hands and hold the politicians to account. The AFCTA is the only deal that is favour to the African, it is better to be in debt with a fellow African than the latter. The ghost of Leopold II is roaming high and low ready to haunt the African, the spectre is thirsty for negro blood.

In understanding the gross impacts of Covid-19 the Zimbabwean economy has not grown since 2019. The landlocked country is surviving by the tendons, the landlocked country is swinging by the strands of geriatrics hair roots. The only to survive a total collapse of the state would be putting all of its public entities for sale, however, due to the lawlessness of the state where the basic rules of law are alien. Zimbabwe is not an ideal destination for any future investors until they witness sincere change. Therefore the 2023 elections are one to watch with an eager eye however the whole continent know that the propaganda machine is working overtime. The attempts are there to create a one-party state where the opposition is a ruling party version two as it can be noted with the Douglas Mwonzora MDC party is a typical decoration of an opposition party.

It once happened in Russia, it can happen in Zimbabwe and Africa is not spared.

It is time for Cecil John Rhodes to relocate somewhere away from Matopos.

 The Cecil John Rhodes dilemma

Zimbabwe a nation caught up in a whirlwind of madness, coupled by a barrage of madness. Where the nation has been caught up in a state of confusion, underdevelopment, and irresponsible leadership. However, simultaneously going through a passage of a series of unfortunate events. The reasoning behind might be anchored on the passages of time. In that one means that there are particular unexplainable reasons that a community should pass through in order for there to a history that defines the people who they are, why they are and what they are. Thence one is drawn to trek back and try to understand the reasoning as to the fact that the nation has been brought to a state of underdevelopment for more than forty-decades of an illusion of sovereignty. Be that as it may, it can be appreciated that she "Zimbabwe" is a victim of internal and external series' of unfortunate events that have driven her to the state of apathy that she is experiencing in this time and space. However, the solutions are there and they are watertight through the exploring of various themes and ideas. Let it be acknowledged that Zimbabwe belongs to everyone who has the best interests for the country. However, the gains of the revolution and those who sacrificed for the liberty of Zimbabwe their efforts must and should not die in vain they should be kept and safeguarded with everyone who resides within the bounds of Zimbabwe. Thus the revolutionary mantra must not be concentrated in one section of society it must be spread equally and equitably to everyone who has a progressive appreciation for the country "Zimbabwe". Thus one embraces the fact that Zimbabwe belongs to everyone not a pod of entitled geriatrics who are pursuing in keeping a status quo that was left by Ian Smith and his cronies. That is not what it means to be Zimbabwean.

It is an appalling realisation that a country that claims that she has reached forty years of independence and does not have a working vibrant black-led economy, "when the author mentions the following black-led economy the author is buttressing his assertion on the point that anyone irregardless of their race orientation or classification and has the best interests of Zimbabwe at heart and desires like fire to see Zimbabwe realise her untapped potential in any sector. This assertion bases on the point that Zimbabwe is a diverse nation and has Zimbabweans of racial backgrounds thence in the authors view they fall into the blanket category which is the black-led economy".

Pardon the tangent, It is imperative to appreciate that Bob Marley once sang the following lyrics, "Everymen gotta right to decide their own destiny, And in this judgement, there is no partiality" the reggae icon further sings in another song, the following lyrics, "If you know your HISTORY then you would know where you're coming from". With the acquired arsenal from the reggae icon, this allows the author to submit his reasoning for it is hammered by a figure of authority within the passages of history.

What is the Matopos hill?

The hills are a geographical feature located in the southern part of Zimbabwe now Bulawayo. It was formed over 2 billion years ago with granite being forced to the surface. Through erosion over the passage of time. The geographical phenomenon was formed. Drifting away from the geography lecture of Matopos, landing to the historicity of the hills. This includes folklore and significance of the hills. This leads one to understand what are the hills. According to Historians; Matopos Hills, are the home of the spirits of departed Ndebele Chiefs. The Hills contain gigantic caves this include Bambata, Nswatugi, and Silozwane. The caves have a vast array of KhoiKhoi paintings and there are Stone and Iron Age archaeological sites. The scenic view of the World Hill or Malindidzimu where Cecil John Rhodes and others are buried. Finally, in 2003, the Matopo Hills was made a World Heritage Site.

The Cecil John Rhodes dilemma Continued:

Malindidzimu it means Place of Benevolent Spirits, transversing further. Cecil John Rhodes was buried in an odd fashion one would note it as a dramatic burial site. Rhodes' tomb is emphasised in a solid rock almost a hundred years ago and topped with a simply inscribed slab of bronze.  The plaque read, "Here lie the remains of Cecil John Rhodes", understanding the significance of the Hills. One needs to start from the name of the cite where the colonialist is resting. Malindidzimu means Place of Benevolent Spirits, taking a look at Cecil John Rhodes' exploits one can note that he was colonialist who has one agenda and that agenda was controlling the livelihood of a particular group of people. This means plundering, pillaging, raping the people of that particular piece of land. In this case Zimbabwe. Thence him being buried at Malindidzimu, the place of Benevolent spirits. The critical question that would bubble to the surface is what is benevolent of Rhodes' actions to the black nation of Zimbabwe? Thence one gets to view that the location of the illegal immigrants resting place does not warrant him to rest there among the ancient Ndebele Kings who are resting at Malindidzimu. Understanding the Rhodes one, one needs to trace his approach to control the Ndebele and Shona, people. Firstly he was an economic assassin by that he took over the lands of the Shona and Ndebele people place them in concentration camps. Instruct them that they shall pay taxes based on the possessions that they had meaning the colonised people were told to pay taxes for their house's, cows, chicken and even to lengths the number of family members that were at the homestead. In that sense they expect the families to pay their taxes with money not tribute with money. Who ow money the Whiteman who needed people to farm their farms, mine, cook etc. This then meant that the man of the house now forced to go and work for the Whiteman leaving his family so that he may not be taken to court tried for not paying the state. In order to see his family leaving a comfortable life in the new Rhodesia. This then led to the creation of places such as Mbabre the Mbare histels that only housed the men who would work in the city Salsbury. Diving deeper with the analysis it can and must be acknowledged Africans we are spiritual beings we connect with our ancestors through dreams, trans-state. That was seen as demonic by the white missionaries. In which, to a reasonable extent it was not demonic. It is how we worshipped and communicated with ancestors that is the reason why there were persons such as Chaminuka, Nehanda Charwe Nyakasikana, Kaguvi, Mukwati, within the Shona/Zezuru community. The persons in mention were spirit mediums. It is imperative to acknowledge that the African community as a race we are spiritual beings we are in tune with our creator. Thus we have people in the arts industry who in their unique way of communicating they are direct receivers what our creator has to communicate. It takes one to take a step back and listen attentively what is being communicated then and there one will be able to discern the truth that needs to medium to interpret one's purpose. This then means that is African Traditional Religion which is a way of life for most Africans across the continent. The way we eat, interact, communicate it is all African Traditional Religion. The problem then when a community is faced by an alien culture this then results in the disharmony that our communities are experiencing to this day. What is being referred to as disharmony in society is the toxic gender-based violence that women in our communities are exposed to by their male counterparts. Children being rapped by their primary caregivers, xenophobic violence that people from different nations are exposed to by the vicious visceral violence that they are exposed to. Though admittingly there are unscrupulous persons within the foreign nationals community who are up to no good, a reality that one has to embrace though pricky as the quails of a porcupine that is the nature of a human being it has the good and the bad. Within the Ndebele nation, Ntabazinduna was the place where the nation interacted with their deity. Who to one's divinity understanding it is the same deity that Shona/Zezuru people understand as Mwari/Musikavanhu. This then means that their deity uNkulunkulu would choose a particularly worthy candidate upon the day of the ceremony to communicate with his people. The dynamic universalism of deities, this is when a deity elects a candidate to stand and speak form him upon one's observation as to why within the Ndebele nation there are no documented spirit mediums (though this school of thought is still weighted and researched and critiqued and is open for correction for the benefit of the reader of this article).

Cascading further with this paper it must be acknowledged that Cecil John Rhodes, when tends to apply the twenty-first-century lenses. Upon the status of immigration, the colonialist was and is an illegal immigrant and like any other immigrant who does not have clear paperwork done upon them even posthumously, they can be classified as an immigrant. This argument is based on the fact by that time, in order for one to be within any territory that has people who are already domiciled within the area one needs to give the persons "original owners of the lands" that they are within the territory for a designated time and if it needs be if they find the place in their liking they seek permission to stay within the bounds of the lands. This then means that person who would have decided to be part of the community must then abide by the laws of the land. In the case of Cecil John Rhodes and his posey, they did not have those intentions. Their intentions were to dominate topple the already existing ecosystem and transplant the British ecosystem within the territory of their choice in this case current Zimbabwe. This then draws one to acknowledge with no shadow of remorse nor respect of pointing out that Cecil John Rhodes along with his posey they were illegal immigrants and then being buried at sacred places such as Matopos it is a cultural violation and in the quest of saving the identity of the people and rewriting the chapters of colonialism like any other sovereign territory that is pursuing self-determination persons such as Cecil John Rhodes they must be removed from sacred lands such as Matopos. It is the same submission that one would note that the faces of the American presidents that were carved on Mount Rushmore are an insult to the Native American community. If one has to note how the Native American community has spiralled into disarray, where alcoholism is rife, excessive gambling and violence within their communities. In taking a step back some of the problems that such communities are going through can be hinged along the grounds of reasoning that sacred lands such as Mount Rushmore and Matopos are not respected. Thus it is the same context that can be applied within the Zimbabwean narrative that persons such as Cecil John Rhodes are still sleeping on sacred lands. The regime of Ian Smith allowed him to stay there, the regime of Robert Mugabe allowed him to stay there not sure this regime are they going to allow Cecil John Rhodes to stay there only time will tell. Furthermore the reasoning as to why people must claim back their lands and rewrite the chapters of history and pursue self-determination like any other territory that lives and breaths under the sun. It births a culture of responsibility within one, it inculcates the culture of accountability in one a subject that is alien within the African community. In that, this cascades into the next point of discussion within this article. The point anchors on understanding as to how, and why there are a lot of loopholes within Aft=rican states whereby gross irresponsibility and selfishness has been treated as if it is nothing within any territory when in reality it is the lowest level of human societal decay. In this case, one must appreciate that saved landmarks such as Mosi-oa-tunya must exhibit the identity of her children who occupy the territory, not an identity that is likened by colonial masters or Matopos where a cultural assassin still lies in state. Zimbabwe since 1982 to this date has been plagued by gross governance that has overseen the demise of her own currency where her currency was infected by inflation it was driven to evaporation being obliterated from the face of the earth people becoming trillionaires overnight, maybe that is what they meant when they harkened and embarked by anchoring on freedom for all and allowing people to become trillionaires (pardon the sarcasm it is intentional). Zimbabwe is territory locked in a deadlock constantly baptised in the cesspool of redundant and confusion where the beginning and progress is nowhere in sight the nation is on autopilot mode since 1982.

Gukurahundi it happened and those who were responsible for the atrocious deed are dying and going to their graves knowing what they did was wrong, some are hiding behind the fact that they have made to control the inquisition. This leads to the whole commission to be biased because the chief architects of the massacre are the drivers of the haulage truck of truth thus this then means another Truth and Reconciliation Commission is afoot within Zimbabwe this means that the puss oozing wounds will forever be oozing their vile stench of democratic decay. In as much as mainstream nd state media would like to note that it was a clash between two political fronts Zapu and Zanu, others are saying it was Shona people versus Ndebele people who were fighting among themselves. The late Mugabe had full control of the infamous fifth brigade which means it is him and cronies who wanted to quail the group of soldiers who were threatening the existence of Zimbabwe. The problem that then arises is then when mainstream media spread disinformation by noting that it was Ndebele versus Shona people. In ones view that is not the case. In one's interpretation, the atrocity is that the future of sovereign state was threatened and the powers that be saw to deploy the fifth brigade to save the nation in their view at that time they saw that aggression was necessary. Like any other nation that is seeking to chart its way, out moments of madness do occur. The bone of contention would be that not coming clean and stating honest reasons as to why the aggression as done. This then leads to misinformation within the circles of society, this then further leads to a rift within a people who are proud yo hail from Zimbabwe being accountable is important for people in public offices. The failure to acknowledge that in the name of protecting a sovereign state necessary steps of aggression had to be taken to safeguard the burgeoning nation. Though pockets of society would dispute for the call of justice if one speaks the truth honestly sooner or later people will understand, they might or might not understand but as an office-bearer one would have done their part and moved onto the next. What this does is that pockets of resistance will be quailed and would be splinter groups would not have something to hold on to as a source of inspiration in the quest to achieve an audacious task to break the nation in two which is not be given room to rear its head.

The lacklustre response by those in power to lead the way in doing what is correct in the eyes of the masses their lies that shatter through their teeth comes to the public by their actions. Digging deeper with the assertion one understands through the actions of the leaders for instance the way the coronavirus situation is being handled. Within the territory, the availability of PPE's in public hospitals is close to none. Upon authoring this article it is reported that sixty nurses have contracted the Coronavirus. The stimulus package that is meant to support vulnerable families to this date has not been made available for vulnerable families. Thus, one is drawn to appreciate the stark reality of mentioning that the political, military elite and oligarchs are the ones who are living in safety the rest of the nation is in a state of "each men for themselves and God for us all..".  This reasoning draws one to gravitate to the pointer that such careless leadership has been permitted because sacred landmarks are not respected. Thus in as much as the tomb of the colonialists is a tourist attraction site, it brings in the much needed foreign currency the country desperately needs. Zimbabwe does not have access to any financial institutions as it is blacklisted because the government has not been serious in servicing the debts that it has accrued over the years. Be that as it may as a point of clarity some of the debts that the nation is going through including other African nations they are inherited debts. Thus financial institutions should see to it that there is a revision on where the debts should and where should they start. The debts inherited from colonial masters should be scrapped off. They are an impediment to the growth of African countries the likes of Zimbabwe. However on the other hand Zimbabwe is in debt because of maladministration. Corrupt activities were given the blind eye by the elected officials who they too have to be held accountable for their gross irresponsibility in which they oversaw the demise of the nation. Yet, again one is drawn to pinpoint to one of the many reasons that have brought Zimbabwe to her current state and that is that persons such as Cecil John Rhodes is still sleeping on sacred grounds. Indeed what is one hinting towards to without pussyfooting or hiding behind the pinky finger is that maybe the creator of the lands of Zimbabwe is not pleased by the fact that a person whom they do not recognise as their own is not one of their sons and has been buried on sacred grounds surely they will turn their backs against their own children until they figure out where is the problem coming from. In one's observation and suggestion is that the nation is embroiled in this never-ending madness because Cecil John Rhodes is sleeping on sacred lands and he has to be removed maybe there would be a moment of sanity, so as the statue of David Livingstone that is Mosi-oa-tunya that too has to be removed for the sake of owning Zimbabwe's destiny and reclaiming our lands from the people who used to run our lands maybe there would be clarity in the conscience of what is needed to be done and such issues as Gukurahundi among others are taken and treated with great respect and maybe the nation might be able to weave herself out of the murky mud grounds she has been lodge in for very long time and this decade in one's observation the ripe decade to claim a cultural evolution.  The failure to remove or to exhume Cecil John Rhodes it, unfortunately, a pacifism system that dismantles and undermines the rights of apple. This then leads to the people to be manipulated and be bullied by the already system that is antagonistic to the black people then the system that was established by the late statements. Thus the failure or reluctance to remove Cecil John Rhodes can be interpreted that the gatekeepers appreciate being colonised by the former masters who they claim they dismantled in 1980. Reasoning that can substantiate the point can be that the government offered to compensate the British Government the first critique would be where is the money coming from, who is paying or servicing the bill, why is Zimbabwean government being arm-twisted and bullied by another state that has for the record has accumulated wealth from taxing and bullying other sovereign states. The pacifism can be hinted towards the now removal of Cecil John Rhodes on sacred grounds. Matopos is a citadel of cultural identity for anyone who hails from Zimbabwe and a recognised landmark in Africa and in the same mood of respecting places such as the Louvre of France, The Great walls of China, The Great City of Timbuktu the same respect must be given to Matopos and anything that does not resemble the original custodians of the lands should be removed for the sake of keeping the remaining identity of the people intact. In the energy of recognising black lives so as heritage sites matter so as its people matter.

Indeed Zimbabwe is not a vacuum state it has people who are direct descendants of the pioneers and many of them have integrated themselves within the Zimbabwean community. Many of them have contributed greatly to the nation across all platforms of the industry. Many do not want to be associated by the murky muddled history that their forefathers displayed in Zimbabwe, many yearn to be part of the new Zimbabwe a Zimbabwe that brings all races together a Zimbabwe settles the differences of the past and are looking forward to a brighter future where the custodians of the lands should live together in peace. This means they too should subscribe to the school of thought that Matopos is sacred grounds and the remains of Cecil John Rhodes must be removed from where they are given the almost cultural assassination attempt the late colonialists almost accomplished. As the saying goes "When you are in Rome, you do what the Romans do" likewise "When you are in Zimbabwe you do what the Zimbabweans do". If the French on 05 May 1789 decided to do away with the aristocratic system that was holding them back. They revised everything that does tell the peoples history by removing every bit of Franco aristocratic resemblance in place with their "the peoples" identity thus after some seasons of upheavals and necessary tours they found their footing and they successfully birthed their own republic. As the Zimbabwean who is in pursuit of cultural liberation. Where landmarks that are insulting to the custodians of the lands must remove such infidels where they are laying they too must be removed. This also mentions the statue of David Livingstone it must be removed and placed somewhere else. Thus, this further means that the town of Victoria falls must be renamed to her original name that resembles the falls. The suggested name would be Mosi-oa-tunya from Victoria falls.

In any nations pursuit for independence there comes at a time in one's mindset that they should pay attention that culture is important than money. In essence, this means that the tourism association claims that the tomb of the colonialist attracts tourists. The tourists themselves are conscious people they will understand that sacred lands must be respected and they will respect the Zimbabweans decision of removing the Rhodes remains and placing somewhere else.

Understanding and appreciating that Rhodes can be viewed as a Zimbabwean by defacto, it is imperative that as a historical relic his contribution to the history of the nation, though negative, he too extended a role in carving Zimbabwe what it is today. Hence in any humane way in ones view he deserves to be treated with respect like any other person whether alive or dead. Thus since Zimbabwe is circular state the exhuming process must be dealt in a respectful manner where the custodians of different faiths are borough together to oversee the removal of Rhodes. If it is to seek the assistance of the Anglican Church to lead the process may the process be led. The choosing of the Anglican church is that the Anglican Church originates from England meaning they have a say in the removal of Rhodes. Then the Chief who has custody of lands that include Matopos must then cleanse the lands to make them whole again. Understanding that there shall be a gap where Rhodes used to occupy since Matopos hills are located in Matebeleland. The people of Matebeleland must then choose for themselves the greatest sculptor who must sculpt something that represents the people of Matabeleland and it includes the rest of the people of Zimbabwe. So as to quash any possibilities of people who will think that they were excluded.

Assuming that the colonialist has been exhumed what is the next step, the next step in ones view it is twofold. The first option would be depart him to where he came from for he has nothing good appreciate for he is a blight that brought pain and suffering to the people of Zimbabwe in many facets than one; for example, he is a cultural assassin. Which in turn it might spark another diplomatic subtle tug of war between Britain and Zimbabwe. Furthermore, Zimbabwe does not have money to waste in sending remains to where they came from, thence that idea can be put aside and take the other. The second idea would be that Cecil John Rhodes can be buried at the National Heroes Acre. The reason being the Acre is a historical landmark of those who contributed to the History of Zimbabwe. Some who are buried there are part and parcel in the Gukurahundi massacre still they are sleeping at the Acre hence no one is perfect. In as much Rhodes has a marred past he too played a role in defining what Zimbabwe is today. Hence in ones view he too must be buried there. His burial at that landmark befits as a landmark to note that Zimbabweans are one and in our differences, we move together and find a common ground in our differences. The same treatment that a Hero is given so too must Cecil John Rhodes must be given. Cecil John Rhodes burial at the Heroes Acre also signifies that the white community of Zimbabwe that has been hurried and hounded and traumatised by the regime are also included within the nation called Zimbabwe this can serve as an inspiration that as long as one has the passport, identity card of Zimbabwe. Has the same Vission, Mission and Ambition to contribute to the growth of Zimbabwe so be it. Zimbabwe needs as many skilled people as possible where we all heave-ho at the same time in different spheres. One people, One Zimbabwe.

In conclusion, it is safe to note that the remains of Cecil John Rhodes must be removed so that Zimbabwe and her daughters and sons. May be able to move forward, sacred cultural lands marks found Africa have rights and they matter. It is up to the children of those landmarks to take pride, custody, responsibility and accountability so to be able to solve our own problems that still need to solve. One people, One Zimbabwe.

The State of affairs of being BLACK in the world the meaning of #BlackLivesMatter

The investigation of #BLM:

Introduction:

For over four centuries the person of colour or the black person lacking a better term the African has been subjugated, exploited and plundered as if she or he is game. The prized possession in any society that sought the advancement of itself while navigating the waves of time, would be the person of colour who is malleable like their hair and can forge to create an inferior version of themselves. The state of affairs of being black from Africa and going to the world; is that black people are the recipient of rage and attack from other races, in particular, the white community and to some extents the Asian community. This blog is dedicated to unpack and discuss the "State of Affairs of being Black and the significance of #BlackLivesMatter". The investigation shall try as much as it can to unpack and try to understand the significance of the hashtag. The hashtag is not just a mere hashtag it is a symbol or a harbinger that indicates the struggles of the person of colour. Hence this essay shall attempt to explore the meaning behind the hashtag and attempt to highlight the meaning of the hashtag from an African view broadcasting and interlocking with the world. This is in reverence with that, from the times when men learned how to navigate the seas using the stars to this day and where men by the click of a button in a few minutes they have food delivered to them right at their doorstep.

What is the #BLM:

The #BLM started on 13 July 2013 with three sole founding matriarchs Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi. This was after George Zimmerman was acquitted for the shooting and death of Trayvon Martin. That is when the movement came into life one can note that is when #BLM was born. In paying attention giving the hashtag dignity one would note that the #BLM is seven years old. The #BLM has come at a time when the American community was still coming to terms that a police officer who took an oath to serve and protect comes back in the form of a cold-blooded killer. Who is acquitted of no wrongdoing and does not even face lady justice as enshrined in any form of the justice system? The acquittal not only was an insult to the Martin family this includes the whole African American community in America let alone the whole globe in particular in the international scene that people in power will do whatever they want with peoples lives and they can get away with it. Let alone the race relations between the black race and white person who has been basking in the light of authority from time immemorial they have the power to condemn any black person to the doldrums of nothingness and their generations until the last end will keep on crawling and suffering until forever. Hence the matriarchs in one's observation being whisked by the wind of motherly instincts, in an act of critically questioning the system in America of how can they treat the precious life of a fellow human being as if it is another piece of disposable paper from the dollar store. The acquittal arrived at a shock and it is still a shock to this day. That how can one murder a young boy and then gets away with it, this reflects how people and power can manipulate the system to best fit the narrative those in authority will do whatever it takes to protect their own in as much as they can, then one would dub the murder to be the assassination of Treyvon Martin to be a significant death across the waves of time. The assassination of Treyvon Martin is significant because it reflected how polarised the American community is, in particular, the African-American, who are high priority number one. Police officers in America according to numerous reports are accused of targeting minorities these are the Black people, Latino's among other races, however, prime suspect number one is the Black person. The movement in itself one notes that it raised the gross inequalities within the system itself. A Whiteman profiles a young black son and then kills him in an instant then is acquitted. In comprehending the basis of the police officers acquittal the facts do not add up. Where it does not add up is that the police officer claimed that he was in self-defence, that is the reason why he shot and killed Treyvon Martin However, the Police then refuted the claim of Zimmerman the evidence did not add up. Trickling further with the story before a jury Zimmerman was eventually tried though the jury acquitted Zimmerman of second-degree murder and manslaughter.
The inequality where justice was botched tampered and in one's view not handed adequately resulted in Zimmerman not facing justice as envisioned in the ethos of noting that when a person commits a crime in this case of murder one must face justice, hence in one's view the jury system to some an extent with the Treyvon Martin case, as a case study displays its weaknesses. Another typical case where the jury system shows its weaknesses, in the view of this blog that is the Amber Guyger case. Botham Jean was murdered in his house by a police officer who mistook Bo's home to be her's after she ignored the red doormat that was by the door. Guyger was handed a ten-year sentence after five years she will be "eligible for parole". With everything has been laid before one comes to figure out what is the hashtag, in interpreting one can note that it is a call rather a cry for a fair justice system. A system that respects the dignity of a fellow human being, the dignity of another race. The hashtag exposed the low underlying racial inequalities in America, whereby if it is a black person who has committed the same crime or another form of a crime the justice system descends hellfire on the accused.

Note: #BLM raised other important issues that affected other minority groups within America since the pedestal of America being the trendsetter globally #BLM had an international audience who are facing the same struggles of being marginalised and ill-treated by a biased system of governance that only serves the rich and influential. The following paragraphs are now investigating further the significance of #BLM outside America and it has been in existence from time immemorial.

Paying homage to the founding matriarchs of the #BLM upon investigating through the archives of time. One comes to draw a link between the hashtag and the fight for the cause of being black and to be granted the same rights as any other human being.

#BLM and the world: A focus on the African

The #BlackLivesMatter is not just a movement where people can make it trendy, sound and look all revolutionary in the eyes of the masses. Where people can just post about on various social media platforms at the comfort of their homes. Where people can just post-black pictures on all the platforms that allow them to have that glimpse of that few seconds of fame. The hashtag is, in one's view means more than just a hashtag; it is religious calling, it is a sacrifice, it is a way of life and it is a mission. The reasoning anchors on the sole observation and vehement scathing critiquing of the state of Affairs of the African "in this whiteman's world we, the ones chosen".
Being an African one is treated with respect if one abides by the wills and instructions handed to them by the Whiteman through two avenues of observation. The first is Christianity and the second is the entity called democracy in the eyes of the whiteman, not democracy in the eyes of the African, democracy in the eyes of the whiteman. The African has been indoctrinated to praise everything that is white is right, everything that reflects the whiteman is correct and everything that is white is superior and must last longer at the expense of their own heritage. A classic example is that within the Bible people who questioned those who are the broadcasters of the light through the use of the "Bible" must be accorded and given respect and must not be questioned; if you question their actions you are ought to receive "divine punishment". Exploring what is being indicated one comes to the point of noting that, Miriam the sister of Moses was struck by leprous after questioning Moses why he had married a Cushite/ Ethiopian woman. Drawing a link from the story of Miriam completing a cross country to juxtapose how imperial countries have been perpetuating the what one would call "The Miriam punishment" on African countries that seek to question the whole status quo that is hellbound in dismantling the pivot of the black independence. Hence in this part, the blog discusses and raises awareness of the #BLM to the African and the world.

The Miriam punishment:

The biblical analogy serves as the perfect and conducive trampoline to broadcast what is being meant by the sub-heading. A brief context, "After Miriam and Aaron had questioned Moses' actions as to why he decided to Mary a none-Israelite, the wrath of God descended on Miriam and she had to leave the camp because she had leprous" What is significant in this area is how Miriam was picked up and cursed with leprous, Aaron was spared. In this regard metaphorically Miriam is Africa and her fifty-four daughters and Moses is the Whiteman or European who has economical control over African states that question the system. What is meant by the noun system is the way of life that the African is expected to follow by those who have been exploiting African states from the times of the Slave trade to this time and beyond?
In substantiating the above part of this paragraph one shall explore the invasion of the Italians in Ethiopia in 1935. Emperor Haile Selassie addressing the League of Nations appealed to the League for assistance and help to wean off the invasive Italians led by Mussolini. The Emperor said, "...is due to my people and the assistance promised to it eight months ago..."According to Historians no country within the league of nations came to the Aid of the Ethiopians. The Italians were repelled by the Ethiopians themselves after they failed to scale the mountainous geography of Ethiopia hence the Ethiopians took advantage of the weakness within the Italian invasion. Expanding further with this part one stumbles upon the Mau-Mau rebellion in Kenya that spanned from 1952-60. This was a war in Kenya, between the Mau-Mau and the British government that once had authority over the territory. It took fifty-nine-years for the British government to muster the strength to admit and apologise. The Belgian governments hand in the Congo from Leopold to the assassination of Patrice Lumumba. Though the Belgian government apologised for the assassination of Lumumba in 2002, to this day they have never apologised for their colonial past. Trickling further, one comes to The Lancaster House Agreements of 1979, "At independence from the United Kingdom in 1980. the Zimbabwean government were strengthened to commence with the necessary reforms as long as land was bought and sold one willing basis, the British government would finance half the cost. In the late 1990s, Prime Minister Tony Blair terminated the agreements when funds available from Magaret Thatchers administration were exhausted, cancelling all commitment to land reform ." Treading further down on the various historical landmarks, one stumbles upon the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. Kigali was up in flames, Kigali for a hundred days she was fuming and heaving while the world looked on and did nothing those who had the power at that time spent hours on end debating and vetoing. While the people in Rwanda spiral out of hand and killing each other. The United Nations peacekeepers were under strict instruction not to intervene. The servicemen who were on the ground beheld the violence and the decimation and did nothing because there was an instruction that came from headquarters.
One can narrate and highlight a long list of historical landmarks that occurred in Africa and those who amassed astronomical wealth through the first slave trade and then colonialism did nothing. In one's view submits the point that the life of a black person is not as important as the other. It is boggling to note that the western territories wealth that they amassed is not their's out of sheer hard work and determination as one would assume. It is wealth, as highlighted above, it is wealth that has been amassed through hooks and crooks. Hence the continent that has been providing them with all the wealth that they desire its dwellers are nothing less than something that can be acquired cheaply. Hence their reluctance to take the decisive and honest step of accountability, of acknowledging that they too have a hand rather have the moral obligation of reciprocating through assistance where needed.
Cascading further in embracing the meaning of the sub-heading, "Miriam punishment" when analysing the narrative and trying to figure out what Miriam was doing in the wilderness away from the camp. One can submit reasoning that noes Miriam spent her days languishing in sickness and she was not being productive like any other camp dweller depending on her desired past time activity. This, in turn, can be woven and linked together with the state of affairs of African states that sought after self-determination. Any African state that seeks self-determination just like the French did in 1789. The French understood that they want to do away with the exploitative and inhumane aristocrats through their revolution which was successful in one's observation. The observation stems from the point of departure that noes, that the will and voices of the people were heard. Though they "French" went through some moments of upheaval and violence like any other territory that is seeking change, however, what they had started in 1789 was eventually realised to this day.
Extrapolating the vision of the French and using the same conditions in Africa, one notes that any African states that attempt to chart her own destiny. The engine of destiny is tampered with through political interference from peoples who crawl from the Western hemisphere of the globe; they seek whatever it takes to install a puppet ruler one classic example is Mobutu Sese Seko of the DRC. Controversial he was, his country was stable, the people there lived well and were given universal health and education. The person in mention is Muammar al-Gaddafi, who was toppled through a systematic attack by the states who crawl again from the western hemisphere. Final submission of the example is the apartheid secret service agents who injected HIV and AIDS. In the Alexander Jones documentary that exposes the crimes against humanity. Keith Maxwell one of the apartheid agents had a burning ambition of decimating black populations, cement white rule and bring back conservative religious mores. The sinister deeds that Maxwell and company including countless other criminals are in one's view have the same vision mission and ambition of destroying the African vision of a self-governing state that propagates and enforces the ethos of an independent free African hence one would draw a similarity with the story of Miriam. The "Miriam punishment" can be observed further in this point; when African states took power through diplomacy the likes of South Africa and others and some had to go to the bush in order to assert the sole mission of black independence these are countries like Zimbabwe, Mozambique and others. It is important to note that African states after they took over the realms of governance they inherited the debts that were accrued by the former regime. To this day African governments are still servicing those debts. The debts some of them were not meant to sustain and build the countries. The debts were applied in twofold first the money was used to purchase weapons used to kill the freedom fighters and two the debts were meant to destroy the governments from within through civil unrest because the newly fledged governments will not last long they would be toppled through protests by the citizens of that territory. Hence one comes to the analyses of rating that the Miriam punishment is alive and abiding by the biding of the financial institutions that have an agenda of tactically pushing African countries into the colonial yoke. Hence the submission is that the systematic violence against African states from financial institutions must be done away with first and foremost the scrapping off all debts amassed during the colonial times before the African states were born. The year the African state was born, all the debts amassed before in all fairness must be scrapped off be declared null and void, this then means all the money that has been paid should be refunded to the African states who have been paying for the debts that they had to inherit all because of a racially charged, motivated and infused minority government.  Wrapping up this paragraph one notes that this is the "Miriam punishment" is meant to suppress, subjugate and suffocate the African dream. Through the inhumane instruments hellbound to dismantle Africa and her Daughters and Sons the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter rises to the summit.

The State of affairs of being BLACK: The stigma associated with being BLACK in the world.

Being Black in this "whitemens world we, the ones chosen"  is an extreme sport, a constant fight to survive, to be treated as a human being and to be accorded the same rights that the person of the next race is accorded. As it stands the state of affairs of being black is in shambles; from Africa, right through Europe and Asia, finally landing in America. The black person whether male or female the treatment is just the same. Being black one is witnessed, assumed, insulting, and granted a moniker that is dehumanising and disrespectful. One such case is that black people are barbaric, disorganized and violent; many stereotypes have been tagged on black people by white people just to prove a point. With that notion in mind one comes to note that the white person is jealous, afraid and feels inadequate by the presence of a black person, as it is evident through the passage of time the main aggressor between the two races is the white person, colonialism, slavery and wars against the black person. The white person has and is at work in trying to erase the black identity through culture, they work so hard to mould a copy of themselves within the black person as it is evident through the educational systems that are tagged as the best, its all westernised education, that is being forced upon the black community all over the world. The state of affairs of being black is pathetic and disgusting to note the least. In Latin America that is to note Brazil, the black person is arrested and killed because of being black. In America, the African-American must be marketable be it athletic, beautiful or can entertain. Coming to Europe it is the same situation to Asia this includes the middle east. The black person must be efficient as a machine to do manual labour be it a domestic worker or a factory worker. Let alone in Africa, the black person should be willing to do work for the system the exports the wealth of Africa outside the bounds of Africa because the life of a black person is cheap. In the words of Joseph Mathunjwa, “The employer wants to hide behind the fact that the protesters were violent and continue to oppress the black nation. The life of a black man is so cheap in South Africa". This was during the Marikana Massacre of 2012 when the miners were protesting about the meagre wages that they were receiving. The significant part of the quote in which one is submitting is that, "...The life of black men is so cheap..." The life of black men is not treated with respect as compared to the other race. In a submission in substantiating the above point according to Aljazeera News Network, "African nationals were being mistreated in China"https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/04/african-students-mistreated-evicted-china-coronavirus-200412100315200.html, the embattled US President Donald J Trump in a meeting called African continent "Shithole"https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/trump-calls-haiti-and-african-countries-shithole-nations-1135065155616
Combing through the archives on how cheap the life of a black person is "cheap" in the eyes of the other race final article, https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2019/oct/29/kenyan-women-gulf-despite-abuse-fears-domestic-workers
There are countless articles that substantiate the plight of the black person, that is treated as cheap, without dignity and malleable to suit the later's desires. A contemporary submission would be that of the Nigerian actor John Boyega in a passionate recording in reacting to the state of affairs of being black in America let alone upon interpreting his reaction. One is drawn to attach his sentiments to that of the state of affairs of being black in the world. The Star Wars actor in his passionate recording he said, "I don't know if I'm going to have a career after this". https://www.vulture.com/2020/05/john-boyega-twitter-instagram-video-racists.html
Boyega including innumerable performers of the black community is easily disposed of, another prime submission is the American Gods actor Orlando Jones actor who was dismissed after he displayed a stellar Oscar-worthy nomination performance, claims that he was dismissed from the series production because of racism https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/orlando-jones-fired-american-gods-says-he-sent-wrong-message-black-america-1262775
One cannot pass out in mentioning the former Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle https://www.vox.com/first-person/2020/1/17/21070351/meghan-markle-prince-harry-leaving-royal-family-uk-racism The above-included articles in one standpoint serve as a step to submit the state of affairs of being black in this world where the first point of being accepted is the colour of your skin, if you are black or darker you are easily replaceable. Hence the Mathunjwa quote vibrates the state of affairs of being black in this world. Thus one asserts that the #BlackLivesMatter movement is more than just a clout chasing hashtag is a religious calling and awareness of the state of affairs within the black community across the world.

Black lives matter: When will the African sacred artefacts return home?

Africa in one's view has been the home of constant marvel from art to science to architectural marvels. Where science, art and engineering all come together to produce the finest relics that are still standing strong to this day. One cannot avoid mentioning Great Zimbabwe, twelve meter high walls of granite all neatly designed with complementing chevrons to harness and buttress the Zezuru people's identity and rich affluent culture. Crossing right across the plateau to Great Kingdoms of Luba and Lunda, cascading to Nubia where she is littered with Pyramids across her face. Heading up north to Egypt the mighty pyramids of Giza and Alexandria. Appreciating the winds that blow the reader to West Africa, in mentioning Timbuktu and her schools of knowledge who has texts of yesteryear and are still intact to this day. The list is endless one can prattle the whole night and day by mentioning the various feats of brilliance that have been left by the yesteryear African ancestors. The examples above serve as a curtain-raiser to another point of discussion in relation to #BlackLiveMatter. A movement that has come at an opportune and conducive time to raise awareness of the prolonged issues that have affected the people of Africa from time immemorial were the matters of the African matter also.  If the Afro-American and Afro-European's issues are given prime attention that same energy; in one's view must be transferred to peoples of colour across the globe. They themselves are experiencing rather have been experiencing the same ill-treatment by the system as far as one would look back and try to connect the dots of atrocities. The Black person has been facing from the aborigines down in Australia who is facing extinction, transversing along the global plains to the African and arriving to the hub of activism the Native American who is facing challenges very similar to her fellow sisters from other parts of the world.
The identity and sense of being of any community stem from language, the way people communicate it might be through language ie the ability to speak by the use of the tongue or sign language. The premise of it all is the ability to convey a form of communication to the next. Expanding the means of communication that people can use to explore and expand their imagination is through various forms of communication one can site the architectural buildings, the way a particular group dress, for example, the Ndebele people use a vast array of colours to identify themselves. The Maasai from East Africa has a traditional dance where they jump very high. What is being delivered in this paragraph is that the ability to communicate has blessed Africa with a vast array of traditional clothes, face masks, dances that have different meanings. The African over time has been a victim of plunder and carnage from the European. Where Ancient African Art is locked away in European Prisons "Museums". The institutions have been accumulating wealth and profits by displaying sacred art pieces. Furthermore, they are displaying African identity and culture to the world but do not return any percentage to countries of origin. Some selfish white people decide to own Ancient Traditional Masks in their houses. Not only is it an insult to the African continent, but it is a form of imprisonment of the African person. The European child takes pride and constant praise and pride by for example identifying and associating what their forefathers did in the olden days. In this case in submission one is referring to persons such Aristotle, Da Vinci, Gallileo Gallay, Mozart. The Nordic community stands proud and tall because of their Viking heritage and they have ownership and full custody of their ancient relics. Juxtaposing the above-mentioned case study to the African one draws an understanding of that the African does not own any of her ancient art pieces. The importance of these artefacts to the African community in Africa is that they have an impact on the generations that are constantly coming. That impact is identity. Africa is and has been facing an identity crisis as far as the times of Achebe dating to as far as one can imagine; for example, the bronze masks of Benin that are stashed away in some European museums. The Congolese traditional face masks that were looted by Leopold and his band of thieves are stashed away in Belgian museums. Ancient Igbo and Yoruba Gods are on display in foreign lands. The skulls of Mbuya Nehanda the matriarch who forged the war of liberation of the struggle "Chimurenga" for Zimbabwe to this day are on display in British Museums. Where her great-great-grandchildren. Have to witness of her remains in the display each and every day whenever they visit the museum. It is insulting to note that a group of people who champion and try to educate the world about democracy and human rights are reluctant to own up and return the artefacts that they are profiteering from. One gets to note that the plight of the African is under-appreciated nor respected. Hence one submits in noting that #BlackLivesMatter. If people are prepared to own up and be ready to be accountable let them be bold enough to facilitate the repatriation of the works of art that belong solely to African countries. While they are at it they should pay back the money that they have been making for close to a century-plus. Furthermore, the state of the art museums that they have established over time must be erected in the respective lands where they plundered. One can appreciate the efforts of the President of Senegal, President Macky Sall. President Macky Sall in 2018 opened The Museum of Black Civilisations in Dakar on 6 December 2018, the Museum is home to an array as far as the eye can see with interesting articulate and intricate pieces that Africa has produced through her children who are gifted.
The insulting part of it all upon paying attention to the whole #BlacLivesMatter. The British auction house "Christie's" announced a curated "Arts of Africa, Oceania and North America sale in Paris which includes African art such as the newly discovered Akan terracotta head (Ghana) etc are valued from thirty to ninety thousand euros..." https://qz.com/africa/1865162/africas-stolen-artifacts-up-for-sale-during-global-economic-crisis/
The selling of the Ancient Artefacts is an insult and disrespectful, one can note the toxic, corrosive nature of white monopoly capital that is hellbound to selfish private ownership of another person culture. The perpetuation of greed through an auction house that still practices the slave trade in the twenty-first century. The above notion brings forth the whole point of #BlackLivesMatter. Thence one is driven to ask the question when will the stolen artefacts return home?
Though the President of France Emmanuel Macron has called for a change in French law to allow the restitution of cultural works to Africa. One gets to look at the gesture done by the Fench President with a pinch of salt. The reason is solely based on sincerity. Is the French leader sincere or he is trying to ease the wave that he and his advisory body are noticing or they are trying to appease the remaining African states who they are holding through the CFA pact https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-46960532. After Guinea and other seven Francophone states decided to walk away from the colonial pact that was established by Charles De Gaulle. https://www.aa.com.tr/en/africa/8-african-nations-to-withdraw-cash-reserves-from-france/1646104
Noting the intricate importance to return the artefacts back to the homes of their origin, in the name of #BlackLivesMatter is important, furthermore, poaching hubs such as Christie's must be taken to the International Criminal Court of Justice at the Hague for crimes against humanity. The argument is basing on how can entity find it binding and plausible and feasible to have the authority to auction an artefact that belongs to a sovereign state without the letter of the sovereign state of consent. that the artefact should be auctioned. Analysing the artefact in discussion one can note that the artefact is an extension of the people. Hence in the best interest of the epistemological meaning of #BlackLivesMatter, the very same energy must be expressed towards sovereign states who have their artefacts held hostage by museums. In closing this paragraph. It leaves with the rhetorical question. When will the ancient, sacred African artefacts going to be repatriated back to their lands of origin?
Not only are African artefacts are being commodified through Museums it is worth mentioning that fashion brands are exploiting the African traditional prints for their own profitable gains. Fashion brands take advantage of the fact that is no binding legal instrument attached along with the African prints that they commodity and capture hostage.

#BlackLivesMatter: The exploitation of Africa's natural resources.

In the wind of #BlackLivesMatter one arrives at the point of discussion hat explores and exposes the importance of black lives matter in Africa. One needs to affirm that this blog does not seek to whisk away the plight of the African American, rather it seeks to raise awareness. The awareness reiterates on the point, of mention that the same energy given to the call to the African-American must be emphasised in Africa too and across the world where justice is being practised every day in places such as Oman, Saudi Arabia where African maids are exploited. In China where the African is facing discrimination and blamed to be spreading Coronavirus, to Brazil where the Afro-Brazilian is hunted and thrown to prison finally landing in African where the African cannot benefit from her resources that Africa is blessed to have custodian over.
It is imperative to understand that the African has no authority over our resources, by resources, one is mentioning the natural resources from Coal, Gold, Diamonds, Platinum, Copper etc.
The extraction of these minerals is solely based upon foreign-based entities who are in that African countries territory legally or illegally. By illegally one is inclining towards the militias that are established by multinationals to control the rich mineral deposits that are located in that particular territory. The territory in mention one is inclining towards at the Democratic Republic of Congo. That region is spoiled and contaminated by militias that work for multinationals that are extracting the precious resources found in that region the likes of Coltan, Diamond and Gold. The people who are suffering are women and children. Women are raped children do not have access to a decent education. Some are conscripted to child soldiers, programmed to become killers at your ages https://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/features/2016/01/blood-minerals-profits-conflict-drc-160118124123342.html
One can explore the #BlackLivesMater in another case study of discussion the Marikana Massacre of 2012  https://marikana.mg.co.za
What is being driven home is the point in the submission that black lives matter all over the world the same energy that is being exerted in America and Europe with the solidarity from other parts of the world. If possible should be treated across the world. A lot of families are starving due to the selfishness of multinationals that control the resources and the governments that they are contracted with. The above-mentioned examples are not the be-all and end-all. They are serving as an example to put across the struggles of the person who does not have a custodian of their minerals. With the failure to our minerals results in multinationals taking advantage of the "Cheap" disposable labour that the African provides. This then affects the family who then makes up the community and the community make up a nation. Thus the hashtag is more than just a trend. It is a way of life for black people across the continent and the world. Finally, the unchallenged multinationals have a monopoly and influential control of governments. Thus again exposes the rights and lives of black lives.

Conclusion:
The State of affairs of being Black has to be improved and respected as any other races affairs. The African has been exploited for more four centuries the article serves to raise awareness and the critical discussion on the importance of #BlackLivesMatter. That the movement though it has elevated the plight of the Afro-American. However, the movement has exposed the obvious horrors the people of colour have been exposed to through cultural appropriation, unrealistic interests from financial institutions, historical colonial debts, political interference coupled with an array of instruments used to attack the person of colour by the white person. Finally, this article does not seek to whisk away the limelight from the brothers and sisters across the Atlantic but, this article serves to raise awareness the same struggle the African is experiencing. The article hoping the same energy is spread across the world in the name of Ubuntu or Hunhu.
